EU Data Act Compliance Statement

3Dconnexion confirms its commitment to compliance with the EU Data Act (Regulation (EU) 2023/2854), effective since September 12, 2025. This regulation applies to data generated by our 3DxWare software, which collects anonymized usage data (e.g., application usage, system information) through the 3Dconnexion Driver Analytics Program, with user consent via the “About” panel.

Our hardware products do not generate data and are not subject to this regulation.

We ensure the following obligations are met:

  • Data Access: Users can request a copy of their usage data by contacting [email protected] with their Anonymous Installation ID, accessible in the 3DxWare “About” panel.
  • Data Sharing: Users may share their data with third parties, coordinated through the same contact.
  • Rectification and Erasure: Users can request corrections or deletions, though aggregated data may be retained for operational purposes.
  • Transparency: Detailed information is available in our EU Data Act Compliance page (this page) and our Privacy Policy.
  • Public Authority Cooperation: In exceptional cases (e.g., emergencies), we may share data with authorities under Articles 14-22, as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

This statement reflects our adherence to the EU Data Act’s requirements for fairness, transparency, and user rights.
