Shapr3D Features

SpaceMouse

Object Mode

The SpaceMouse cap represents the model (object) on your screen. The model mirrors all movements of the cap.

Example:
Push the SpaceMouse cap right, the model moves to the right. Twist the cap to the right and your model rotates in place to the right. Lift the cap up/down and the model moves up/down.

Target Camera Mode

The SpaceMouse cap controls the viewport (camera) in the context of what you are looking at (the target). You will orbit around what you are looking at (the center of your view).

Example:
Push the cap forward and your view moves into the scene. Push left and your view moves to the left. Twist the cap in any direction and your view will orbit around the view center.

2D Mode

Navigate the view without any rotation. The view moves in the same direction as the cap.

Auto Rotation Center

Sets the center of rotation dynamically, depending on your model’s position in relation to your view. When the complete model is in view, the entire model’s volume center is used as a pivot. When moving closer, the pivot changes to the view center.

Horizon Lock

Forces the horizon to be kept levelled.

Rotation Lock

Manually toggles rotations On / Off.
