My SpaceMouse does not work but moves the mouse cursor on macOS
If the SpaceMouse does not work but instead moves the mouse cursor on macOS, the 3DconnexionHelper process is not running.
To restart 3DconnexionHelper, please open “3Dconnexion” in System Preferences which will relaunch the 3DconnexionHelper process.
After that, you can confirm it is running in the process list in the activity monitor:
Finder > Applications > Utilities > Activity Monitor
In case 3DconnexionHelper keeps disappearing (crashing), please contact our technical support and send us the corresponding Crash Reports which can be found in the console:
Finder > Applications > Utilities > Console > Crash Reports
