How can I check if my USB 3Dconnexion device is recognized by Windows?
To check which hardware is connected to your Windows system, please follow the below procedure. You may need to log in as an “administrator”.
- Open the Device Manager.
- Make sure that you have selected View – Devices by type filter.
- Select the “Human Interface Devices” category and drop down the list.
- Right click on 3Dconnexion device which you want to check and go to Properties. If you connect the device via cable or directly to USB you should see the proper whole name for instance: 3Dconnexion SpaceMouse Enterprise. If you connect the Universal Receiver or other devices Wirelessly you should see 3Dconnexion Wireless Device and here probably you need to check if the proper device is detected.
- Go to the “Details” tab and in Property list select “Device Instance Path”.
- Note: If you will have any warning icon near to the 3Dconnexion device name report it to Technical Support team.
Check if in the Value window you see the proper name of the 3Dconnexion device:
