CadMouse doesn’t click on macOS 11.0 “Big Sur”
If you are using Apple macOS 11 and newer and a CadMouse (wired, launched in 2015), you will need to upgrade the device firmware to version 1.06.
A firmware update tool (tdxflash) can be downloaded from here.
Please review the user_guide.pdf that is provided with the tool.
You can check the firmware version using the “3Dconnexion” pane (“Tools” tab) in your Mac’s “System Preferences”.
IMPORTANT: you need to connect the device with the cable to be able to update the firmware of the device.
Note: The CadMouse Wireless with firmware 1.06 does not work with driver versions 10.7.0 r3277 or lower. Please upgrade the 3Dconnexion driver to 3DxWareMac version 10.7.0 r3278 or newer – the one which is linked in the FAQ for macOS 11 “Big Sur”.
