What version of the BLUETOOTH standard does my computer support?
Note: Windows 7 does not support Bluetooth Low Energy!
On Windows:
1. Open the device manager on your computer
2. Expand the Bluetooth category
3. Search for your Bluetooth adapter. It may be listed such as “Bluetooth Radio”, “Bluetooth Adapter”, “Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R) Adapter” or similiar (ignore all listings containing “Enumerator”)
4. Double-click on your Bluetooth adapter and open the advanced tab
5. Locate the first number of the “LMP version” (Link Manager Protocol version) which tells which exact version of Bluetooth is supported.
CadMouse Wireless or CadMouse Pro Wireless (Left) needs at least LMP version 6 (Bluetooth Smart) to work correctly.
