3Dconnexion, a Logitech company, designs, manufactures and markets an award-winning line of navigation input devices (also called "motion controllers") for accelerating user productivity.

As the worldwide leader in navigation input devices, 3Dconnexion serves the distinct needs of a diverse set of industries and creative professionals including those in Product Design (CAD/CAM/CAE), Animation, Modeling and Digital Content Creation. Any design professional using 2D or 3D software can revolutionize the way they work with a navigation input device from 3Dconnexion.

Designed to be used in tandem with a traditional mouse, a navigation input device conveniently streamlines all on-screen navigation. It completely eliminates the tedious shuffle between mouse and keyboard required to position models or objects on the screen in 3D software applications. With a simple touch of the device cap, users can pan, zoom and rotate in one fluid motion with one hand while simultaneously selecting, creating or editing with a mouse in the other. Navigation becomes second nature, freeing the design, animation or modeling professional to focus on the creative task at hand. 3Dconnexion provides solutions for a wide variety of navigation requirements, from high-end 3D to 2D, and from desktop to laptop use.

By accelerating and enhancing the way users interact with their software applications, 3Dconnexion’s navigation input devices can improve productivity by up to 30%, while reducing overall mouse usage by over 50%. Customers worldwide testify to significantly shortened product design cycles, improved creativity, and a reduction in work-related fatigue. 3Dconnexion maximizes the effectiveness of its products through strategic partnerships with leading software and hardware vendors. Over 120 popular software applications are supported. Because of these relationships, 3Dconnexion devices are able to unlock hidden power within these applications; power and functionality that cannot be accessed with a mouse alone.

The core technology inside all 3Dconnexion devices has its roots in the field of robotics and space exploration. In 1993, a 3D controller was used on the space shuttle Columbia, manipulating the first robotic arm in space. This was the launching point for what has become a family of 3Dconnexion navigation input devices serving the needs of more than 350,000 users worldwide. A patented optical measuring system delivers unparalleled performance and control with drift-free and calibration-less operation. Proven technology and a fundamental understanding of how designers and engineers work with their 3D software, drives the continual development of groundbreaking new products. It is the goal of 3Dconnexion to refine the technology even beyond the present benchmark established by the SpacePilot,™ the world’s first intelligent navigation input device..

More than 350,000 designers, animators, and artists use 3Dconnexion’s award-winning line of navigation input devices, including SpacePilot,™ SpaceBall,® SpaceMouse® and SpaceTraveler.™ 3Dconnexion’s corporate headquarters is located in Silicon Valley, California, with regional offices in Dallas, Detroit, Los Angeles, London, Milan, Munich, Paris, Shanghai, Stockholm, Tokyo and Wroclaw. 3Dconnexion is revolutionizing the way product designers and digital artists work. From aerospace to automotive, consumer goods to electronics, machine tools to game development, our navigation input devices accelerate productivity to a new level.
